Anthranilic acid (2-Aminobenzoic acid, CAS # 118-92-3) is used as an intermediate for dyes, pharmaceuticals, ag chemicals, perfumes, pigments, flavors and ion exchange resins. Is also used to control the burning rate of rocket propellants, plus many other uses.
